Art - Summer 2 -Andy Warhol
🎨 ART 🎨
This term we are learning all about Andy Warhol. He was a famous American artist known as the "King of Pop Art." He took ordinary things you see every day—like soup cans, comic books, and celebrities—and turned them into bright, colorful, and exciting paintings that everyone could recognize and enjoy. We have looked at some of his creation - looking at the object/people he used and the bright colours.
Over the next few weeks we will be creating our own Andy Warhol inspired artwork. This week we started by creating our background. We used paint and a shower squigy. They looked fantastic.
