England Netball Event November 2024
St Mary’s S c hool Newsletter Netball Special!
It was a special weekend for St Mary’s netball squad as they were selected to escort the England team onto the court to play against Jamaica at the AO arena. We have been working with Bee Netball for the last year and they asked us if we would like to represent the Greater Manchester children, who have been working with England Netball. All the children were given special shirts to wear, collected lots of autographs and even got England water bottles to take home. It was an amazing two days. A big thanks goes out to Mrs Leitch for organising this amazing opportunity and to Mrs Quinn and Mrs Jones for helping out back stage to make sure all the children were well taken care of. What an opportunity!
