St George's Day
On Tuesday 23rd April, we celebrated St George's Day here at St. Mary's. Pupils were able to wear their Scout association uniforms to school and we held a short ceremony in Droylsden Precinct.
Year 6 performed a dramatic recreation of the story of St George and the dragon. Mr Newall accompanied them on the guitar and we were joined by parents, members of the Church and the local community.
