We focussed on the book FLASHLIGHT by Lizi Boyd. It is a picture book that follows a boy as he travels through the forest with his torch. We see all the different animals that he comes across. In partners, we created non-chronological reports about the animals featured in the story. Using black card and white pencil crayon, we created our own pictures in the style of those from Flashlight. Using clay, we made models of the animals that feature in the story. Finally, for homework, we created animal collages using materials from our homes.
