READING COMPREHENSION

Below are a number of comprehension activities for the children to complete.  Allow them to read the text and then answer the questions using the text.  Encourage them to underline parts of the text to refer to in their answers.  You could also get them to read the questions first so that as they read through the text, they are already looking out for key words and phrases.

The aim is for them to complete two texts per week.

The answers are on the second page so make sure they are not looking at those first!
