🌾 Harvest Cooking Week 🍪

We have had a wonderful week exploring how sharing food is a special way to show love to those around us! We chatted about food being a gift, why we should never waste it, and how we share meals during family times, celebrations, and by giving to food banks.

The children loved looking at our daily snacks to learn all about who grows our food and where it comes from, while sharing how happy it makes us feel to eat together. We talked about what a positive difference we are making by donating to our local food bank to help others. Finally, it was time to get our bake on!

We baked our very own chocolate chip cookies, exploring the ingredients and following the steps together. The best part? Putting them to the ultimate taste test—and the children safely confirmed they were absolutely yummy!
