Year 1
We have chosen the book 'How Kind!' to explore this week. The book was written by Carly Hart with the help of pre school children and families as part of the Tameside Story Makers project in 2020/2021.
It is about Elvis the elephant who saves Cecelia the crocodile with the help of some kind friends.
It celebrates being kind, something that we try our best to be in Year1.
We enjoyed retelling the story and writing our own message in a bottle.
We used 'and' to join simple sentences together when writing about the story. Here is some of our lovely writing:
