Year 6:
During Harvest Cooking Week we have loved getting stuck in to cooking a three course meal.
The children were split into different groups and were responsible for cooking a starter, main and dessert. Each course was based on a ‘hero’ ingredient: pepper, salmon and pineapple.
Alongside cooking some tasty dishes, the children wrote recipes as well as designing storyboards showing the journey their ‘hero ingredient’ takes from ‘farm to fork’.
