Book Spine
We have created a book spine - which is essentially a carefully chosen collection of texts – to ensure that every child at St Mary's is exposed to a rich, ambitious range of stories and literature as they progress through the school. The 47 texts in the spine have been thoughtfully selected for our pupils to build confidence, comprehension skills and cultural awareness. We want all of our pupils to leave St Mary's not only as strong readers but as lifelong readers.
