World Science Day 2023

World Science Day 2023

 

At St. Mary's, we love Science so to celebrate World Science Day (the 10th of November 2023), we decided to give every child in the school an experiment sheet and a packet of Skittles to carry out the investigation at home.

 

Our results: From the experiment, the children saw how the sugary coating of the sweet dissolved into the hot water. The children thought this was super exciting (as you can tell from our pictures) and some even went on to try it with other sweets!
