Harvest Foodbank Challenge 2023
This year, for our Harvest festival, we decided to support the work of our local Trussell Trust Foodbank.
Classes were tasked with creating a recipe based on the items that a family would receive when being supported by the food bank.
We cooked them and then wrote the recipes to share.
Our recipes have been collated into a book that the Droylsden foodbank are distributing to those they support.
The recipe book has also been converted into an ebook for our families to access online.
