St Mary's CofE Primary School - 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind...Love your neighbour as yourself.' Matthew 22 v37-40
Welcome to Science Year 3. We have 2 things for this week. Don't worry if you don't do them both. One is the next lesson on plants and all about the different parts of a flower and the other, to tie in with our literacy this week, is to make a volcano. I love doing this, it's great fun. follow the instructions on the sheet below. Use bicarbonate of soda and if you haven't got a papercup, use a normal mug or the bottom of an empty pop bottle. You could take it one step further and make a card cone to go round the cup and paint it to look like a real volcano just like in the video.
