Pupils' Pages - Sports Club

Sports club meets most Tuesdays after school during term time and is mainly for Year 6 children.

The club is run and organised by Mr. Kayley who is the Teacher of Year 4. Miss Hampson, Mr. Quinn and Mrs. Quinn also get involved during the year adding their help and expertise in certain sports.

Sports covered:

Girls' Football
Hockey
Basketball
Netball
Tennis
Volleyball
Cricket
Athletics

Competitions for all these sports are held at local venues against other schools within the Tameside area. Children are encouraged to come along to the club to learn the skills and then a team of children are then chosen to represent the school in competition. These children are then given more intense training leading up to the competition date.

We have our own school sports kit.
